As the famous old bus manufacturer, Youyi Automobile Co., Ltd had experienced 35 years’ tests of the market, and stands on the stage of Chinese bus industry with its proud achievements of over 5 thousands annual average sales volume and nearly 2 thousand’s export volume.
Since entered WTO, Youyi increased enterprise’s core competitive ability unceasingly, and strengthen its production’s technology and craftsmanship improvement. By reliable quality and good after-sales service, Youyi had a good fame in both national and international bus markets.
In 1990, the company was entrusted by Anhui Hefei Automobile Factory to process 10 SQ 621 light buses to export Soviet Union. It became the first enterprise in automobile industry to export complete vehicle of Jiangsu Province, and stared Jiangsu automobile’s export.
Since 1995, Youyi buses have been exported to more than 20 countries and areas, such as Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Vietnam, Kampuchea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Russia, Sri Lanka and etc. Accumulatively, there’re nearly 10 thousand Youyi buses running in the foreign countries.
In 2004, 500Youyi 6801 middle-sized buses exported Kazakhstan, filling Youyi’s blank of export in batch. To ensure Youyi buses’ regular running in Kazakhstan, the company sent engineering technicians to follow the tracks and provide services. They also did researches on the local exhibition in the capital city Alma-Ata, attracting Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and etc. five countries’ customers’ attention, and laying the foundation for the Middle Asia market development.
Facing the depression of national bus market, all the domestic bus manufacturers looked forward to receiving foreign orders. However, foreign customers have strict requirements on the vehicles. When they choose a product, they usually buy one or two to have a test. If they are satisfied, they will sign the batch orders. This always takes a long time. If the products can’t meet their needs, the brand will be beyond their choices. Therefore, once the customers order a batch of a certain brand’s production, they are showing their satisfaction and trust to this brand.
In 2006, Youyi company’s Foreign Trade Department received an order of two 6721 buses’ trial-producing. The leaders of the company organized technology department, manufacturing department, quality control department, and the logistics department to have a serious evaluation on this order. According to Iraq’s weather condition and Iraqi’s driving habit, they made a humanized design of 6721 model bus, adjusted craftsmanship and quality control to ensure these buses can meet Iraqi market’s needs. In 2007, Iraqi customers added 150 buses’ order, providing to its capital Teheran’s Tourism Department. These beautiful and reliable Youyi buses were highly praised by Iraqi customer, and became a pretty view of Teheran. In August, 2008, when General Manager Zhang Yonghua paid a return visit to Teheran, he signed a 300 buses order of 6721 again. Youyi bus entered Middle East market by its actual strength, and would attract more customers’ attention. Youyi accumulated abundant experience in developing more and more international market.
In the recent years, Youyi Company settled a marketing strategy of “standing on the domestic market and putting eyes on the global market”, and strengthened its export. Under the company’s wise lead, the foreign trade department developed international market actively, made Youyi automobile enter the markets of Middle East, Middle Asia and East Europe successfully.
